From:
Curtis N. Powell, Vice President, Human Resources

The fall 2020 semester is ending, and the Troy and Hartford campuses will be closed for the Holiday/Winter Break beginning Thursday, December 24, 2020 and will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2021. Faculty and staff who have been designated to work on campus on a regular or intermittent basis for the spring 2021 semester are required to receive a COVID-19 test prior to returning to campus. Those faculty and staff who are designated to work remotely for the spring 2021 semester will not be tested.

Faculty and staff returning to campus on a regular or intermittent basis for the spring semester will be tested as follows:

Return from Holiday/Winter Break: Week of January 4 through January 8, 2021

Faculty and staff returning to campus must be tested on both Monday, January 4 and on Thursday, January 7. Testing appointments are available between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on both days. Faculty and staff must schedule their test times by logging into the Daily Interactions & Activities Log (DIAL) and clicking the “Return to Campus Test Schedule” button. This feature will be available for scheduling beginning on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

All faculty and staff scheduled to work on campus on a regular or intermittent basis are required to work remotely on Monday, January 4 and obtain a COVID-19 test. Unless the Division of Human Resources contacts you and instructs you otherwise, you are cleared to return to campus beginning Tuesday, January 5.

Remainder of Spring Academic Semester: January 8, 2021 – May 22, 2021

Faculty and staff who are designated as working on campus on a regular or intermittent basis for the spring academic semester are required to be tested on a recurring basis. Beginning the week of January 8, 2021, testing appointments are available on Wednesdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Faculty and staff must schedule their recurring test times by logging into the Daily Interactions & Activities Log (DIAL) and clicking the “Spring 2021 Test Schedule” button. This feature will be available for use beginning Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

All campus COVID-19 testing will be conducted at the Alumni Sports and Recreation Center (AS&RC), also known as the Armory. Please use the back entrance to the Armory, closest to Freshman Hill. The AS&RC is located on the east side of the 15th Street footbridge and directly across from the Public Safety building.
