The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the New York Capital Region and the Hartford metropolitan area for Thursday, December 17, 2020. Therefore, all staff who have been designated to work on campus on a regular or intermittent basis will work remotely tomorrow with the exception of staff who are designated as “essential” by their portfolio Vice President. Essential staff are required to report to work at their regularly scheduled arrival time or as determined by their immediate supervisor.

All student instruction for the fall 2020 semester is being held remotely, and the Vice President for Student Life will ensure student support and services are available for students who reside in Rensselaer housing.

The on-campus COVID-19 testing facility, Alumni Sports & Recreation Center (ASRC), also known as the Armory, will be open from 11 a.m. through 1:30 p.m., for students on campus who are scheduled for COVID-19 testing. No appointment will be required.

For faculty and staff who are scheduled to be tested on Friday, December 18, 2020, the on-campus COVID-19 testing facility will be open from 9 a.m. through 12 p.m.
